Trade Nation is a global CFD and spread betting brokerage operating across multiple regulated jurisdictions. Our trading platforms are the heart of the business - what traders experience every day and what underpins our edge in the market. We're hiring an Associate Product Manager to support roadmap delivery across our Trading UIs vertical which includes our proprietary mobile app and web platform, plus third-party trading interfaces such as TradingView and MT4/MT5.
You'll work closely with the vertical owner to shape and deliver improvements to the trading platforms our clients use every day. This is a front-end-focused role - we're looking for someone with a strong eye for UX/UI and a genuine interest in trading platforms, who wants to build deep domain expertise in leveraged trading products from the inside.
Our Commitments To Each Other:
- We have each other's backs - There when we need each other the most.
- We Challenge Each Other - Be more creative, more curious, more bold.
- We thrive together - Taking our work to the next level.
- We form strong bonds - Through team building and social events.
- We don't judge - Instead, we teach and are open to learning.
- We step up - Taking ownership and supporting each other to do the same.
Responsibilities:
- Support delivery across the Trading UIs vertical, partnering with the vertical owner, your key stakeholders, Product Owners and technical squads through our product development cycle.
- Own and drive improvements to our proprietary mobile app and web platform and extending to third-party platforms - including overall trading performance and user experience, order tickets, charting, watchlists, alerts and news/content features.
- Help shape the roadmap into a combination of strategic plays and smaller continuous improvements.
- Work closely with our design team and clients to translate feedback and trading behaviour into clear product ideas and requirements for the platform.
- Own and maintain the backlog for technical squads that deliver the Trading UIs roadmap.
- Identify, monitor and communicate impact of key platform & commercial metrics - engagement, feature adoption, revenue per trade, usability and performance.
- Stay close to the competitive landscape and become an internal expert voice on where our trading platforms should go next.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years in product management, with a track record of shipping regulated B2C products.
- Experience or strong personal interest in trading platforms or leveraged-trading products; direct brokerage experience is a strong plus.
- Experience in a UX/product design-adjacent role - a strong eye for good UX/UI design, ideally with exposure to trading platform mechanics.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Figma) and comfort working closely with designers on components, design libraries, wireframes and prototypes.
- Able to produce clear product requirements documentation and work effectively with engineering & delivery teams.
- Comfortable with data and able to define metrics relevant to trading platform engagement and usability.
- Strong stakeholder skills across design, engineering and other product teams.
- Growth mindset - ready to grow into owning a product vertical, its roadmap and its outcomes.
Preferred Requirements:
- Direct financial-services, brokerage or CFD/spread-betting experience.
- Experience operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
- Experience running or contributing to usability testing, product experimentation or client research.
- Charting/technical-analysis tooling experience.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary, and discretionary annual bonus.
- Private healthcare.
- Life Insurance, Critical Illness & Income Protection cover.
- Active Lifestyle allowance.
- Annual leave above minimum entitlement.
- Up to 3 weeks allowance to work in any location.
- Enhanced parental leave packages.
