We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing both Sales and Purchase Ledger.
Sales Ledger Key Responsibilities:
- Recording sales transactions and issuing invoices to customers.
- Ensuring timely collection of payments.
- Reconciling customer accounts.
- Chasing overdue payments (credit control).
- Allocating incoming payments correctly.
- Liaising with customers regarding invoice queries.
Purchase Ledger Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices.
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensuring correct authorization and coding of invoices.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Dealing with supplier queries.
- Maintaining accurate records for audits.
Skills Required:
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
