About Us

Trade Mastermind is a fast-growing business community working closely with ambitious SMEs and trade-based businesses across the UK, helping them scale, systemise, and access the support they need to grow. Alongside this, Valente Consulting specialises in business funding solutions, connecting companies with the capital they need to expand, improve cash flow, and unlock new opportunities. Our environment is fast-paced, high-performance, and focused on creating real results for clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Finance Broker / Business Development Executive. Your role will be to speak with business owners, both from our existing network and through cold outreach, qualify them for funding opportunities, and book them into calls with our senior closers.

  • Qualify businesses for funding solutions through structured conversations
  • Identify strong opportunities and book qualified calls for senior consultants
  • Clearly communicate the value of working with Valente Consulting
  • Build rapport with business owners and understand their financial needs
  • Keep accurate notes and manage your pipeline effectively

Performance Expectations

  • Generate 14 qualified bookings per day
  • Early on, success will be driven by high call volume and consistency
  • As you improve, conversion rates increase and call volume decreases
  • Over time, you'll develop a higher-quality pipeline and warmer conversations

Growth & Progression

This is not just a call centre role; it's a long-term opportunity to build your own desk:

  • Build your own portfolio of clients and repeat business
  • Receive inbound leads and internal opportunities from Trade Mastermind activity
  • Gain exposure to high-level business conversations and funding deals
  • Work directly with experienced closers (including leadership)
  • Progress into more senior sales or broker roles over time
  • As your pipeline grows, your reliance on cold outreach reduces, with more opportunities coming from referrals, existing clients, and inbound demand.

What We're Looking For

  • Confident, energetic communicator with strong phone presence
  • Highly driven and resilient with a target-focused mindset
  • Ability to assess businesses and identify good vs. poor funding opportunities
  • Commercial awareness and interest in business finance
  • Organised and disciplined with daily activity (Training will be provided, but prior experience in sales, finance, or business development is a strong advantage.)

What We Offer

  • Full training and ongoing mentorship
  • Direct access to experienced closers and real deal exposure
  • Clear path for progression within Trade Mastermind & Valente Consulting
  • High-performance, ambitious team environment
  • Uncapped commission on every qualified booking

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Thrive in a high-activity, sales-driven environment
  • Be hungry to earn and grow within finance and sales
  • Have strong judgement or a willingness to develop it quickly
  • Want to build a long-term career in business finance or deal-making
