The Role
You will partner directly with our Sales, Events, Customer Accounts and Marketing teams, providing insight, analysis and commercial challenge to help them improve performance, increase revenue and make smarter decisions. You'll turn data into clarity, and clarity into action. You'll act as the bridge between finance and operations translating numbers into what should we do next?
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering
- Partner with Telesales, Event Sales, Upsells & Customer Accounts leaders
- Attend departmental meetings and become embedded in each team
- Provide weekly performance insight and recommendations
- Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve margins and revenue
- Support pricing, offers, incentives and commission modelling
- Commercial Analysis
- Funnel and conversion analysis
- Revenue, margin and cohort analysis
- Customer lifetime value (LTV), CAC and payback modelling
- Marketing ROI & campaign effectiveness
- Event profitability and breakeven analysis
- Sales productivity metrics
- Scenario modelling and forecasting
- Reporting & Planning
- Own weekly and monthly board packs
- Build KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks
- Maintain rolling forecasts and budgets
- Produce variance analysis with clear commentary
- Support annual planning and strategy cycles
- Decision Support
- Business cases for new products, events or hires
- Sensitivity modelling and investment appraisals
- Incentive plan design and performance tracking
- Identify risks and opportunities early
- Systems & Data
- Improve reporting automation (Xero, CRM, spreadsheets, BI tools)
- Ensure clean, reliable commercial data
- Move the business toward self-serve dashboards where possible

- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- 3-7 years in commercial finance / FP&A / business partnering
- Experience supporting sales or marketing teams
- Strong modelling skills (Excel/Sheets power user level)
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
- Naturally curious and commercially minded
Bonus if you have:
- SaaS / education / events / subscription or high-volume sales environments
- CRM reporting experience (HubSpot/Ontraport/Salesforce)
- BI tools (Power BI, Looker, etc.)
