The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

To be eligible for consideration with this opportunity, you must have:

  • Work Authorisation – you must be legally authorised to live and work in the UK and provide evidence to support your eligibility.
  • Language – you must have a high level of written and spoken English. Fluency in a European language would be highly regarded but is not a prerequisite.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Agent-General for Queensland, and under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will provide financial and administration assistance and general office support to internal and external stakeholders on behalf of TIQ Europe and the London office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Co-ordinate financial responsibilities for TIQ Europe including input of creditors invoices into Converga, onboarding new vendors and liaison with Corporate Services (Brisbane) to ensure payment process steps are completed.
  • Liaise with International Payroll (Brisbane) to assist the Operations Manager to ensure accurate processing and completion of monthly salaries for employees through local payroll service providers, including processing of London employee pension payments.
  • Accurate completion of manual cashbook for reporting to Corporate Services, ensure compliance with reconciliation of employee business travel, assist with monthly management account analysis and ongoing budget forecasts for TIQ Europe.
  • As required, help with co-ordination of operations of the Business Centre, Queensland House including the online booking management system, up-keep of the Centre and provisions, and liaising with facilities management and service providers to operate the Centre.
  • Monitor bank account for TIQ Europe, including annual reconciliation for audit, keep well-informed of Corporate Financial Management Procedures and systems to ensure compliance with TIQ policies.
  • Provide additional support as required to ensure the effective and successful operation of the TIQ London office, including coordination and support of Ministerial visits, business missions, and engagements involving private sector representatives, government officials, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist with upkeep of Asset Register, monitoring contracts (communications, internet, office stationery) and with office building matters.
  • This role may require additional duties to be completed as directed.
