We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery including agricultural equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and minimise downtime

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing diverse machinery or equipment
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
  • Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical trades are advantageous but not essential
