Your Mission
As a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer, you will design and deliver civil engineering solutions for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC) nuclear power stations and future project pipeline. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, stakeholders and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and manage work packages.
- Coordinate and communicate complex engineering problems among stakeholders.
- Review technical work and respond to site queries under fast‑paced conditions.
- Conduct and review structural analysis in FEM packages (Ansys experience is beneficial).
- Oversee reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings.
- Direct teams in the design of reinforced concrete structures.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Support business development during the tendering process for future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered with the ICE, IStructE, or a willingness to obtain a chartership.
- Experience with Ansys or equivalent structural FEM software.
- Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design.
- Familiarity with relevant technical Codes of Practice and Industry Standards (Eurocodes, British Standards, ETC‑C for HPC/SZC).
