We now seek a Marketing Manager to join us on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract starting in March 2026, in one of our UK offices (London, Newcastle or Bicester). RED’s marketing team plays a central role in how the business is positioned globally - supporting growth, thought leadership, client engagement and internal initiatives across a fast-moving, international organisation.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a marketer to contribute meaningfully within a complex B2B environment, working closely with a supportive, high-performing team. The work is varied, visible and impactful, with scope to shape campaigns, tell compelling stories and help evolve a recognised global brand.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Manager is a hands-on, end-to-end role responsible for delivering integrated B2B marketing activity across campaigns, content, social media, events and thought leadership. The role is designed to remain closely connected to day-to-day delivery, with clear ownership of campaigns, priorities and team leadership.
- Own the end-to-end promotional content strategy across global campaigns, social media and events.
- Plan, deliver and optimise integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives.
- Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact, scalable marketing content across global initiatives.
- Oversee copywriting across multiple content types, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging and brand voice.
- Manage campaign, content, social and event calendars to ensure timely, coordinated delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, using insights to inform optimisation and future planning.
- Lead the execution of RED’s thought leadership programme across disciplines.
- Work with internal subject-matter experts to identify, shape and deliver compelling content opportunities.
- Support engagement with RED’s LinkedIn audience (c. 90k followers), exhibitions, client events and wider industry platforms.
- Uphold and enforce brand guidelines across internal teams and external agencies, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity.
- Own the global events and exhibitions programme.
- Lead planning and execution of key industry events, including RED’s annual client event.
- Coordinate content, logistics, agencies and on-site delivery.
- Ensure events align with wider marketing campaigns and business development priorities.
- Act as a marketing partner to Engineering, Business Development, HR/Recruitment, ESG and leadership teams.
- Support internal initiatives including IDEA (DEI), Women in RED, STEM and related programmes.
- Provide presentation and PowerPoint support for senior colleagues, ensuring clarity, quality and brand alignment.
- Align marketing activity with parent company requirements where needed, while maintaining RED’s brand integrity.
- Work confidently across geographies, time zones and seniority levels.
- Line manage two Marketing Specialists, providing clear direction, feedback and development support.
- Maintain a hands-on leadership style, staying close to delivery while setting standards and priorities.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Manila-based collateral teams to ensure joined-up delivery.
- Support learning and development planning for the team, including effective use of L&D budget.
- Champion continuous improvement in workflows, processes and creative output.
- Manage relationships with external agencies across web, SEO, graphic design and specialist support.
- Take responsibility for budget execution and spend tracking in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard.
Essential
- Proven experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within engineering, construction, infrastructure or professional services.
- Strong end-to-end campaign delivery experience across multiple channels.
- Experience planning and delivering events and exhibitions.
- Line management experience, with a supportive and developmental approach.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to act as an effective copywriter and compelling storyteller.
- Strong appreciation of brand, with the confidence to enforce brand standards across internal teams and agency partners.
- Budget management and agency-management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across seniority levels and geographies.
- Flexible, pragmatic approach to managing planned and unplanned priorities.
