The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager – Growth to drive scalable, commercially sound growth across multiple SaaS product portfolios. This is a senior product leadership role with a strong strategic and commercial focus. You’ll play a key role in identifying and evaluating growth opportunities across new markets, sectors, customer segments and product types, and in turning those opportunities into clear priorities and actionable initiatives. Working closely with Product Portfolio Directors and cross‑functional teams, you’ll shape and deliver growth strategies while leading the development of robust pricing, packaging and profitability frameworks. You’ll bring together market insight, competitor intelligence, product knowledge and financial analysis to support strong decision‑making and ensure growth initiatives are viable, scalable and aligned with our wider business objectives. Alongside this, you’ll act as a trusted partner to product teams, guiding best practice, improving ways of working and supporting a consistent, data‑informed approach to sustainable growth.
What you will do
- Identify and assess growth opportunities across new and existing markets, sectors, product types and customer segments
- Evaluate market attractiveness, competitive dynamics, barriers to entry and commercial viability
- Define clear market entry and expansion approaches, including positioning, routes to market and risk mitigation
- Establish and apply a consistent go/no‑go framework for growth opportunities and investments
- Support the creation of strong, evidence‑based business cases for new initiatives
- Partner with Product Portfolio Directors and product teams to shape and prioritise strategic growth initiatives
- Identify cross‑sell, upsell and expansion opportunities across the wider product estate
- Ensure growth priorities are clearly reflected in product and portfolio planning
- Provide practical guidance on opportunity validation, demand assessment and commercial value
- Lead the development and ongoing improvement of pricing and packaging models
- Define scalable product structures aligned to customer types, use cases and value drivers
- Ensure features and enhancements are positioned effectively across base, premium and upsell offerings
- Establish pricing approaches that balance growth, simplicity and profitability
- Create clear frameworks that support consistent commercial execution across sales and account teams
Profitability & commercial performance
- Work closely with Finance to define, understand and track Cost of Sales / Cost of Goods Sold
- Support product‑ and portfolio‑level revenue and gross margin targets
- Monitor commercial performance and highlight improvement opportunities
- Use product, financial and market data to inform recommendations and challenge assumptions
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitor activity
- Build and maintain a scalable competitor and market intelligence repository
- Ensure insights are structured and actionable for strategic and commercial decision‑making
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders as required
Product leadership & ways of working
- Support and guide product teams in applying strong product management practices to growth‑focused work
- Improve processes and frameworks where they limit effective decision‑making or delivery
- Encourage a commercially aware, data‑led approach to prioritisation
- Build strong relationships across Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy while bringing clarity and momentum to complex initiatives
What you'll bring
- Significant experience in product management within SaaS or commercial software environments
- Proven experience in growth‑focused product roles, working across multiple products or portfolios
- Strong background in pricing, packaging, profitability and commercial analysis
- Experience identifying and evaluating growth opportunities through market expansion, new segments or product extension
- Track record of building business cases and making sound, data‑driven recommendations
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives
- Experience analysing competitor positioning and market dynamics
