We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to take end‑to‑end ownership of product strategy, roadmap and vision within our Rail Technology portfolio. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll shape market‑leading software products, influence long‑term portfolio strategy, and ensure our solutions deliver real value for both customers and the business. You’ll work collaboratively across Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing and Account Management, helping to create a flexible, modular product suite that supports scalable, cost‑effective go‑to‑market deployment. You’ll also play a key role in customer engagement, sales enablement and innovation, ensuring our products remain competitive, commercially attractive and aligned to market needs.
What you will do
- Define, own and deliver a clear product vision and strategic roadmap aligned to portfolio and business goals.
- Develop market‑leading, modular product capabilities that enable flexible deployment and new revenue opportunities.
- Own the creation of business cases and investment proposals for product development and enhancement.
- Work closely with Product Owners to translate strategy into high‑quality functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers on cross‑portfolio strategy, including data and shared capabilities.
- Plan product releases, manage dependencies and support effective risk management across development and go‑to‑market activity.
- Assess strategic partnerships and support integration of products resulting from M&A activity.
- Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.
- Embed innovation processes that link strategy, delivery and measurable business outcomes.
- Ensure improvement initiatives deliver value for both Tracsis and our customers.
- Build strong, trusted relationships across the business, particularly with Sales, Account Management and Technology teams.
- Take a consultative approach to customer engagement, gathering feedback and supporting successful product adoption.
- Provide oversight and reporting across multiple concurrent strategic product initiatives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, regulations and competitive landscape within Rail Technology.
- Produce market, competitor and gap analysis to inform investment decisions and product direction.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns, product launches and go‑to‑market activity.
- Create compelling product collateral for internal and external audiences and represent the business at events when required.
- Develop and review sales enablement materials to ensure teams clearly understand product capabilities and value propositions.
- Support bids, proposals and RFP responses with high‑quality product content.
- Act as a subject matter expert during the sales process, including delivering product demonstrations.
- Work with Business Change teams to ensure customers maximise the value of deployed solutions.
Testing, release & quality
- Ensure appropriate test cases and scripts are in place to validate product capabilities.
- Monitor and report on test outcomes across both internal initiatives and customer projects.
