Casual Market Research Surveyor Opportunity
About the opportunity
Tracsis Transport Consultancy, part of the Tracsis Group, specialise in quantitative research, predominantly in the transport industry. We work closely with our clients to develop research programmes that give insight into their customers’ motives, behaviours, attitudes and opinions. That’s where you come in!
Due to the large number of surveys we conduct all over the UK, we are recruiting a pool of casual Market Research Surveyors to support us across a range of transport projects all around the country. Survey times can range from 8 - 10 hour shifts (sometimes 12 hours or split shifts), depending on survey requirements and involves working in all weather conditions. We are especially keen to hear from applicants in London, West Midlands, North West, Wales and South West – particularly Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth and Southampton areas.
If you were to join us, these are some of the things you would be involved in:
- Administering ticketless travel surveys on trains across the country
- Conducting bus user surveys in scenic locations
- Distributing questionnaires at train and bus stations across the whole of the UK
- Boarding and alighting counts at train stations
Keen to get involved? You’ll need the following:
- People skills, as you will be interacting with the public
- Basic IT skills, using apps and navigating websites
- Ability to follow instructions and read basic maps
- Problem-solving skills, using your own initiative where required
- Ability to travel to other locations, with paid expenses
Before you can start any work, you will be required to complete a Right To Work check and produce evidence of your right to work in the UK.
