About Trackunit
Trackunit is a fast‑growing, leading provider of IoT and telematics solutions for the global construction industry, operating out of offices worldwide. At the heart of our platform is IrisX — a purpose‑built data and AI platform that connects machines, people, and systems to drive real‑time, actionable insights across the construction ecosystem.
Role Overview
Trackunit is looking for a Head of Partnerships – Integrations & Applications to lead the primary engine of IrisX credit consumption and ecosystem scale. This is a senior, cross‑functional leadership role within the Partnerships function, reporting to the VP of Platform. You will own all third‑party integrations across ERP, ConTech, and AI platforms, turning enterprise software and ecosystem partnerships into live, recurring IrisX consumption. You will lead a cross‑functional pod — including a dedicated Product Manager, Platform Engineer, Field Marketing Manager, and Regional Managers — and operate as the structural engine that converts partner demand into built, shipped, and adopted integrations.
What You’ll Own
- Integrations & Applications Leadership
- Own the full lifecycle of third‑party integrations: sourcing, scoping, building, launching, and scaling across ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle), fleet management systems, ConTech platforms, and AI application layers.
- Drive IrisX credit consumption as the primary commercial metric for the team’s success.
- Define and maintain a prioritised integration roadmap, balancing partner demand, P&E capacity, and IrisX platform readiness.
- Ensure integrations compound into reusable marketplace connectors, building long‑term platform stickiness.
- Cross‑Functional Pod Leadership
- Lead and develop a cross‑functional Integrations & Applications pod, including a dedicated Partnerships Product Manager, Platform Engineer, Field Marketing Manager, and Regional Partnership Managers as the function scales globally.
- Operate a disciplined weekly cadence across the pod, with structured interlocks into P&E and GTM leadership.
- Work closely with Platform Engineering to ensure IrisX is built for partners to extend, not just consume — including AI agent compatibility and self‑serve developer onboarding.
- Collaborate with the Platform Partnerships Lead (embedded in Product) to formally prioritise integration demand within the P&E roadmap.
- Partner Pipeline & GTM
- Build and manage a structured integration partner pipeline, with clear qualification criteria, engagement stages, and commercial terms.
- Lead co‑sell and co‑marketing motions globally with Field Marketing, with a clear path to building out and leading Regional Partnership Managers as the function grows.
- Drive partner onboarding through the IrisX marketplace and developer portal, with a focus on low‑touch, scalable activation.
- Work alongside the Head of Partnerships and GTM leadership to align partner‑sourced pipeline with direct sales motions.
- Platform & Marketplace
- Actively contribute to the IrisX Marketplace strategy — ensuring integrations are discoverable, adoptable, and commercially visible to customers and partners.
- Partner with Developer Experience Engineering to improve sandbox environments, API documentation, and self‑serve onboarding for ISVs and enterprise software partners.
- Represent partner integration demand in internal P&E discussions, ensuring Trackunit’s platform evolves in line with ecosystem needs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, platform integrations, business development, or product roles within enterprise software, SaaS, or IoT environments.
- Demonstrated track record of building and scaling integration partnership programs — from pipeline and scoping through to live, revenue‑generating deployments.
- Strong cross‑functional leadership experience: able to lead without direct authority across Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
- Commercial acumen: understands how integrations translate into platform consumption, ARR, and ecosystem defensibility.
- Experience working with ERP, fleet management, ConTech, or related enterprise software ecosystems is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and executive presence — able to engage confidently with C‑suite partners and internal senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with a strong bias for action and structured thinking.
- Experience with marketplace platforms, developer portals, or partner‑facing product surfaces is highly valued.
- Comfortable working remotely and operating across global time zones; this is a globally‑scoped role with the opportunity to build and lead a regional org over time.
Why This Role
IrisX is positioned to become the platform layer of the global construction industry. This role is one of the most strategically important hires in the IrisX Acceleration plan — the person who turns ecosystem ambition into shipped integrations, live consumption, and a partner network that compounds over time. You will operate with real ownership, a cross‑functional team, and executive visibility — and you will have the opportunity to shape how the construction industry’s leading IoT platform opens up to the wider ecosystem.
