Tracks and Trails Ltd are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of trips, administration and the Programme Manager team. Fully remote, with regular online meetings and bi-annual face to face team meet up Salary: £36,500 to £42,000 per year, with starting salary based on experience. Lead operational troubleshooting, incident planning and risk management Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and operational documentation to ensure programme readiness and transparency Oversee website content updates for new and existing trips Oversee travel logistics, including transfers, accommodation and ground transport Manage relationships with DMCs (Destination Management Companies), accommodation providers, transport companies, guides and instructors Work with the Directors to oversee safety and risk management, ensuring consistently high operational standards Maintain and support the development of safety management systems, audits, risk assessments, emergency procedures and operating protocols to ensure best-practice standards Support live trip operations and, alongside the Directors, manage any incidents or crisis situations as they arise Business to Business (B2B) Trip Management ~ Monitor sales performance to ensure trips are promoted effectively and at the right time Support B2B development opportunities by building strong partnerships, assessing quality and safety, and negotiating pricing and contractual terms Supporting our Commitment to Sustainable Travel ~ Help drive our sustainable tourism strategy, ensuring responsible travel that positively impacts the people and places we visit Work as part of the management team to help shape the future direction of the business A collaborative and positive team leader with a proactive, flexible approach Highly organised, with strong project coordination and planning skills Confident with Excel, budgeting software, online communication tools and industry systems Excellent written and spoken English; French or another language is an advantage Passionate about delivering seamless, safe and sustainable travel experiences A graduate in tourism, adventure travel or a relevant field Experienced in logistics and operations within the outdoor or adventure travel industry Currently working in an operational, product, programming or supervisory role and ready for the next step Passionate about the outdoors and mountain-based adventure Confident in using booking systems, travel apps and digital tools, or keen to learn Experienced in, or familiar with, the complexities of operating adventure travel across multiple countries
