YOUR WORKING HOURS – FLEXIBLE SHIFTS, FIVE DAYS A WEEK
We operate seven days a week to support our customers, so some weekend working is part of the role.
But here's what's important: You'll only work five days per week. Weekend shifts replace weekdays – they are not extra working days.
Weekday shifts:
- Early shift: 8:00am–5:00pm
- Late shift: 11:00am–8:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am–5:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am–4:00pm
How does it work?
Most weeks you'll work Monday to Friday. When you're rostered to work a Saturday or Sunday, you'll receive an alternative weekday off during the same week.
Your rota will be communicated in advance, allowing you to plan your time.
Five working days. Two days off. Every week.
Your Academy training will be office-based at our Norwich location.

WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?
You’ll learn the mortgage business from the ground up.
During your 18-month Academy, you’ll gain practical experience across different departments, learning how the mortgage process works from the first customer conversation through to completion.
You’ll develop the skills to:
- Speak confidently with customers and understand their needs
- Build trust, rapport and lasting customer relationships
- Develop your sales, communication and negotiation skills
- Understand mortgage products, lenders and applications
- Work with market-leading mortgage technology
- Study towards your fully funded CeMAP qualifications
- Progress into a professional mortgage advice role
By the end of your Academy, our aim is to have you qualified, confident and ready to build a successful career as a Mortgage Adviser.
