With an enviable portfolio of high-profile retail and industry clients, TRG has experienced rapid growth in the last few years, and is looking to expand its team of timber and forest product supply chain assessors.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Responsible Sourcing Timber Supply Chain Assessor at Track Record Global. The assessor will be responsible for conducting due diligence risk assessment for timber and forest-based products, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The role is predominantly home-based, although the organisation has hubs in Brighton, UK, and Iasi, Romania.

Some experience in the forest products industry is essential, and knowledge of timber certification schemes and timber legislation, such as UKTR and EUDR, would be a distinct advantage.

Qualifications

• Some experience of the timber industry and timber products
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Experience with sustainability practices is a plus
• Bachelors degree in forestry or related industry preferred
• Language skills in Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese would be an advantage
