We are Track Record Global (TRG) - experts in natural material supply chain assessments and delivering robust product compliance to a wide range of well-known clients. We operate in a unique position between our clients and their suppliers leveraging our bespoke tech platform and highly trained assessor teams to mitigate risk and ensure compliance. We deliver services from Supply Chain validation, through to claim checking and the provision of Digital Product Passports.

With increasing complexity around compliance and legislation and clients under more pressure to manage risk than ever before, we are focused on growing our client base and service offering - as well as further investment in technology - to deliver exceptional growth for the business and a continued excellent service for our clients.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Junior Client & Supplier Manager to join our Commercial team, reporting to one of our Client Managers. This role operates across both the Client & Supplier Engagement team - where advisors report into the position - and the Account Management team. It plays a key role in connecting these functions, leveraging detailed knowledge gained through direct engagement with client suppliers, while providing operational support to Account Management. The position also offers the opportunity to develop capability in direct client management over time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Client Manager to core timber accounts (largely non-retail)
  • Deliver budgeted number, ensure forecast updated and accurate within monthly forecast cycle
  • Responsible for contract renewals, price increases and other commercial negotiations
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycle where appropriate
  • Focus on ensuring excellent supplier engagement across all accounts to drive revenue and ensure efficient engagement to feed back to clients
  • Develop clear reporting on supplier engagement metrics
  • Maintain and develop clear comms with Client Managers
  • Mentor and coach team of advisors to progress
  • Work closely with Operations Team to support and flex resources between the team to deliver against changing business needs where possible.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in client management, and dealing with multiple key stakeholders
  • A great communicator who is happy to call or email clients and suppliers
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to work cross-functionally between two teams
  • Ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally
  • Experience in line management
  • Strong IT skills (advanced excel / google sheets would be of benefit, but it not essential)
