A brand new opportunity not currently advertised within the market for an International Arbitration Associate to join a highly respected Dispute Resolution practice recognised in the Legal 500 for complex cross border work.
The team focuses on high value commercial arbitration and investor state disputes, frequently involving sovereign states, state owned entities and multinational businesses. The caseload has a clear emerging markets specialism, with matters frequently arising out of large scale energy, infrastructure and investment projects involving states and state backed entities.
The work goes beyond procedural management. Associates are heavily involved in case strategy, jurisdictional challenges, quantum issues, enforcement planning and coordination with foreign counsel. The practice handles disputes from initial advice through to award and post award strategy.
Requirement: you must already be doing substantive international arbitration. Experience under major institutional rules and exposure to multi jurisdictional disputes is important.
The wider platform offers an exceptional progression pathway with clearly defined milestones from associate through to senior levels. Development is competency based, with formal feedback and clear expectations throughout your career at the firm, focused on technical excellence, client contribution and business development.
