Track Legal are instructed on a brand new Derivatives Associate opportunity within a top Legal 500 ranked practice. The Partners are leading in the market and internationally recognised.
The focus will be sophisticated derivatives work for banks, financial institutions and investment funds, frequently embedded within structured finance and cross border transactions.
Expect exposure to ISDA based frameworks, collateral and credit support mechanics, structured product documentation and regulatory considerations that sit around trading activity.
Strong experience in negotiating/drafting derivatives documentation and understanding the market is essential. The role is suited to someone already operating confidently in this space rather than looking to pivot into it.
At 3 to 4 years PQE, you will take ownership of negotiations, liaise directly with counterparties and work closely with Partners on structuring issues that require commercial judgement as well as drafting skill.
This is a supported, Partner led environment and the firm has a strong reputation in the market for excellent progression where career pathways are clearly defined.
