The Work
This role offers a broad, high-quality diet of finance matters, including:
- Corporate lending and real estate finance
- A regular flow of revolving credit facilities and investment-grade secured deals
- UK mid-market corporate lending for clearing banks
- High-profile financings for large international organisations
- Private debt funds, borrower and bank-side mandates
- Syndicated loans into emerging markets, including sovereigns and financial institutions
The partners cover different specialisms, so lawyers get exposure across the full spectrum rather than being siloed. Teams are typically staffed with a senior and a junior associate on each deal, giving excellent responsibility, exposure and opportunities to mentor both upwards and downwards.
The ideal profile
- 3–8 PQE Finance lawyer (Team hiring both at Associate and Senior Associate level)
- England & Wales qualified or similar common law jurisdiction.
- Solid experience in corporate lending, cashflow-based lending and/or REF
- Comfortable drafting facility agreements and advising on covenants
- Strong technical grounding, particularly on bank-led lender work
- Someone who values breadth of work, international exposure and long-term development
