Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Family Law Solicitor to join our expanding team. The Role

You will manage your own caseload of high-value family law matters, with a particular focus on divorce, financial remedy, and private children matters. Alongside fee earning, you will play an important role in mentoring junior team members, supporting workflow improvements, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm. This role would suit a confident, commercially minded solicitor who enjoys autonomy, values client care, and thrives in a modern, ambitious environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of complex family law matters independently
  • Advising clients on divorce, finances, and private child arrangements
  • Conducting negotiations and advocacy where appropriate
  • Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors, paralegals, and support staff
  • Supporting the development of internal systems and processes
  • Delivering exceptional client care in line with the firm’s modern and approachable ethos
  • Contributing positively to the growth and reputation of the business

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Minimum 5 years PQE in family law
  • Strong experience in financial remedy matters
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
  • Strong organisational and case management abilities
  • Advocacy experience desirable
  • A positive, collaborative approach to team culture
