We are working with a world-leading Banking & Financial Services Group, who are looking to welcome a Product Controller on a 12-month FTC into their team.

In the role, you’ll be responsible for controlling and reporting high quality and timely financial information referring to commercial activity to multiple stakeholders.

This is a key role within an exciting and entrepreneurial part of the business.

Your Role

  • Producing daily P&L for various trading desks, challenge any differences and report issues.
  • Preparing senior management reports on the performance and risk analysis.
  • Calculating fair value adjustments and ensuring trades are correctly recorded.
  • Involvement in the improvement of the P&L process working with various stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure a strong control environment and highlight any weaknesses to senior management.
  • Perform analysis on any new products and impact on the business.
  • Actively taking part in projects bringing improvement to the reporting process.
  • Analysing the balance sheet and reporting on business drivers.
  • Your Skills and Qualifications
  • ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified with at least 4 years P&L reporting experience, ideally with varied product knowledge (Equities / FICC)
  • Strong inter-personal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
