Our client is a very successful alternative investment manager with a requirement for a Hedge Fund Accountant. With over $2bn of funds under management, this firm values steady growth and a focus on the long term; which they believe is the reason to their success.
The team are high performance, hardworking characters who are looking for a like-minded individual to join their team and truly make an impact on the function.
Your Role
- Preparing month-end Net Asset Values and fund performance reports.
- Reporting the predicted cash flows.
- Managing the audit process with the external Auditors.
- Preparing performance fee and tax calculations.
- Assisting with monthly regulatory reporting.
- Preparing board packs for the senior management team.
- Monitoring of procedures and resolving any issues identified.
- Involvement in ad hoc duties eg fund launches.
Your Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with Fund Accounting, Fund Audit or Product Control experience (ideally have knowledge of Equities and/or UCITS funds).
- You will have worked in another Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or in a Fund Administrator.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks are a must.
- Team player, with a willingness to learn new skills and add value.
