A leading renewable energy & infrastructure investment firm is looking for a Head of Fund Finance to lead the financial backbone of its infrastructure platform across open and closed-ended funds with around £12bn AUM.

This is a senior, visible role with real influence; sitting at the intersection of finance, investment and asset management teams with the mandate to bring them all closer together. You’ll be a true business partner and play a critical role in the growth of the firm.

The Role

  • You’ll take full ownership of fund finance across the renewable energy and core infrastructure assets, covering accounting, reporting, valuations, tax, debt and governance.
  • You’ll also lead a large, international fund finance team and work closely with senior leadership on key commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End‑to‑end fund finance leadership across listed and private structures
  • Oversight of IFRS reporting, audits, financial reporting and investor disclosures
  • Oversight of the valuations team, structuring and advisory for funds, and treasury management
  • Senior partnering with investment and portfolio teams on transactions, forecasting and performance
  • Leading and developing relationships with lenders
  • Continuously improving finance systems, data and process transformation
  • Board‑level SPV responsibilities across renewable energy assets

About You

  • This role suits an experienced fund finance leader who is technically strong, commercially minded and comfortable operating at the top table. You’ll have agency and be able to drive projects forward.
  • Deep experience in fund finance, within infrastructure or renewables
  • Strong IFRS, valuation and complex structure expertise
  • Track record of managing teams and having 4+ direct reports
  • Confident engaging with boards, investors and senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting M&A, refinancing and asset lifecycle decisions
