We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a senior finance team within a leading international talent management agency. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this role offers broad exposure across a dynamic, globally operating business.

You will take ownership of statutory compliance, revenue recognition, and the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities.

This position requires close collaboration with international teams, particularly a German subsidiary, and a strong understanding of German GAAP and business practices. We are currently only considering GERMAN SPEAKING qualified accountants, and this position will provide sponsorship for German nationals looking to move to London if required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the period-end close process
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Manage the audit process end to end
  • Oversee statutory accounts and ensure full compliance
  • Manage revenue recognition in line with US GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with both US GAAP and local GAAP (including German GAAP)
  • Partner with international stakeholders, particularly in Germany
  • Development of accounting policies and support the technical accounting team
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant with significant post qualified experience
  • Working proficiency in German
  • Significant experience in a similar senior finance role
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP and German GAAP
  • Experience working with German entities and understanding of local practices
  • Proven ability to manage month-end and statutory reporting processes
  • Experience operating within an international environment
