Data Analyst, Investment Management firm, London, Hybrid, up to £60,000
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Data Analyst to join a growing Investment Management business. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented analyst with up to three years' experience who is looking to take ownership of critical reporting, analytics, and data management responsibilities within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
Reporting into the Head of Data & Analytics, you will play a key role in providing high-quality data insights that support investment decision-making, operational efficiency, regulatory reporting, and strategic business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Deliver accurate and timely management information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to provide analysis on portfolio, client, and business performance data.
  • Own and maintain key reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Support regulatory, operational, and client reporting activities.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support ongoing data transformation and initiatives across the business.
Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Up to 3 years' experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Strong experience using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable visualisation tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to produce meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
