15th September, 2026Interim Business Analyst Immediate start - short-term role until the end of the year 600 to 675 per day Outside IR35 Central London Hybrid working Must have Asset/Wealth Management or Banking Following an acquisition, we are seeking an exceptional, delivery focused Interim Business Analyst with a background in managing migrations. You must have Banking or Asset Management experience. This is a critical, highly handson interim role running until the end of the year. The project is bound by incredibly tight deadlines, and we need a tactical, analytical problem solver who can dive straight to the data. You will unpick complex migration challenges on day one. Problem solving and experience managing business transfers/migrations are the keys to success in this role. Key ResponsibilitiesHands-on Migration Delivery. You will drive the practical, day-to-day execution and transfer of client assets, accounts, historical data, and associated operational processes.Pick up new tasks, system workflows, and operational requirements at pace, delivering immediate value with minimal hand-holding Ensure all migration activities strictly adhere to proper internal processes and that robust operational controls are established and maintained throughout the transition to prevent any data loss or operational gapsInterrogate legacy and target core platforms, mapping data fields accurately and ensuring seamless integration between systems. Proactively identify data discrepancies and system integration issues. Own the resolution of these issues. Conduct detailed data mapping and oversee complex asset reconciliation activities, ensuring the incoming client book aligns with the target platform.Collaboration between core business functions, managing stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and the Front Office.Skills and Experience RequiredPlatform Migration Track Record: you must have successfully moved a platform from one system to another within a wealth management or banking environment, demonstrating strong systemic fluency and technical adaptability.Exceptional ability to work directly with complex databases, platform architectures, and data structures. A proven ability to look at complex data or broken operational processes, find the root cause of a system mismatch, and implement a rapid, robust fix. A proven ability to land in a complex, fast-moving environment, absorb technical information, and pick up execution tasks immediately.A demonstrable background within Wealth Management, Banking, or Asset Management is essential.An understanding of custody operations and products, including the operational nuances of migrating cash, stock, and equities. Beneficial ExperienceA solid understanding of CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook) rules, specifically regarding client money and asset protection during a book transfer.
