Predominantly processing the income of the organisation and support the Financial Controller in running efficient and effective financial processing, financial controls, financial reporting and monitoring on all of the UK based income.As such, we encourage applications from under-represented groups in the accountancy sector. The RoleFinancial Processing - processing donations from varied sources such as direct, website, online fundraising websites, legacy income, as well as non- donation related income - with the addition of cheque and cash processes into the bank.Financial administration - Manage the donations inbox and liaise with donors and prospective donors to provide information and respond to queries. Financial controls. - Complete bank reconciliations and all funds received for other agencies on a monthly basis.To provide cover for the following tasks owned by the Finance Officer (Expenditure). Experienced Needed:Minimum of three years hands-on experience in financial accounting.Advanced experience using Excel and integrated multi-ledger accounting systems.Experience of charity accounting and knowledge of such requirements.Experience of filing Gift Aid claims.
