We’re on the lookout for a Group Tax Accountant to join a growing, ambitious wealth management company. Based in London, you’ll play a key role in managing all aspects of the Group's tax compliance and reporting across the UK. What You’ll Do:
- Manage the Group’s corporation tax, VAT, employment taxes, and other tax compliance across the UK and Crown Dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man).
- Work closely with external tax providers, HMRC, and internal teams to ensure compliance and manage tax governance.
- Lead VAT restructuring projects, manage M&A tax due diligence, and provide advice on tax implications.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns and support on tax reporting, ensuring tax balances are correctly reflected in reports to the Executive Committee.
- Guide the HR team on employment-related taxes and assist with ad-hoc tax advice.
What I'm Looking For:
- 3 years post qualified tax experience
- Qualified in tax or accounting (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS).
- Strong understanding of UK VAT and international tax
- Experience with tax accounting standards (IAS 12) and M&A tax is a plus.
The Group Tax Manager is paying £75,000 - £85,000 with benefits and bonuses on top.
