Payroll Manager, Private Equity firm, Perm, Β£75,000 - Β£90,000+ bens + bonus

A growing Private Equity firm are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team.

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for the firm’s payroll, and will partner closely with HR, Finance and other teams to ensure a seamless payroll operation, globally. Reporting into the Finance Director. They are looking to offer the successful candidate between Β£75,000 - Β£90,000.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure al the date is correct for payroll processing
  • Compliance and Reporting - Ensure compliance with all internal and external local payroll regulations and laws
  • Responsible for the staff budget and half yearly reforecasts
  • Significant input in the bi-annual salary and bonus review cycle
  • Key input in annual remuneration committee meetings
  • Lead on the companies compensation review processes
  • Conduct company wide annual compensation benchmarking to propose salary and bonus banding to ensure the company remains competitive and in line with the market trends
  • Complete regular audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure compliance
  • Stay updated on change in payroll laws and implemented changes as necessary
  • Ensure all payroll balance sheet reconciliations are completed
  • Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data, and handle payroll related reports and data to senior management

Person Specification:

  • CIPP qualified or QBE
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
  • Experience with Workday or Anaplan is desirable but not necessary
  • Proven experience in a previous payroll management role
