Financial Controller -Food Manufacturing

We’re currently recruiting for this UK based Venture Capital investor in global sustainable infrastructure and technology. You\’ll have lots of Management Accounts experience and ideally at a group levell. Audit experience will also be good as we will be asking this person to manage the relationship with the Auditors and take responsibility for all Quarter-End, Year-End, under the direction and support of the FD and CFO.

Is largely about managing a small finance team and producing all monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports and consolidations for the group. You will support the production of the Statutory Accounts and provide MI for the board.

Manage all management accounting for the group
Manage a simple consolidation of several UK and overseas entities
Preparation of annual Audit and be the first line of communication with the Auditors
Develop the businesses reporting framework, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
Assist with for Statutory Accounts and external reporting
Drive consistency in accounting policy implementation
Implement major IFRS projects and other changes
Present to senior management a basic understanding of certain accounting policies or issues
Provide accounting advice to senior managers across the Group
Manage and review your team, including annual reviews, training and development.

Must be practice trained / qualified ACA/ACCA/CA/CPA
Experience in a Statutory Reporting and Controls based role within banking
