Finance Analyst | Fintech Bank | £30,000 – £35,000 | London and Hybrid
Are you looking to build a career in banking finance with hands-on experience across a broad range of activities? We’re seeking a motivated Finance Analyst – Banking Sector to join our client\’s team and contribute to key financial processes within an innovative, early-stage banking environment.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and work closely with senior management, including the Head of Finance and the CFO.
About the Role
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in banking finance, working closely with their finance team to support essential functions including:
- Accounts Payable (AP) processing
- Payments management
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Assisting with financial accounting and statutory accounts
- Preparing monthly management reports
- Tracking KPIs and KRIs
- Supporting technology testing and process improvements
You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of tasks designed to develop your skills and deepen your understanding of how a bank’s finance function operates. Our client prioritises giving junior colleagues breadth in their role, so expect a varied and engaging workload.

- Progress towards a relevant finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus, but they value experience and attitude even more.
- Relevant banking or building society experience is highly desirable — this will allow you to hit the ground running with a solid foundation of banking finance knowledge.
