  • £500 – £600 per day (Ltd or Umbrella)

An opportunity to join a law firm and take lead on a finance system implementation to move to 3E.

You will report to the CFO, and work closely with the Financial Controller and finance teams based in two different locations., to migrate data and manage the project. The role is supported by software developers and IT internally and there will also be IT help externally.

The project will be end to end, initially setting out the project plan and resulting in training the users and leaving the business with a new suite of reports that are more efficient and value-add.

Responsibilities

  • To lead the implementation of Elite 3E for Finance.
  • You will write a statement of work, set out testing requirements & data mapping.
  • Data Mapping
  • Monitoring progress toward project milestones.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities from reviewing finance and contract & project data.
  • Business partner with the Management Team, Software developers and Finance Teams to improve process efficiencies and ensure data issues are resolved quickly.
  • Data migration to 3E
  • Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior finance team to design new reports for accounting and finance.
  • Liaising with internal system developers and external IT support.
  • Complete end to end user acceptance testing.
  • Be a system super user for Elite 3E to transition knowledge and complete end user training.
  • Lead post go-live process improvement.
  • Create a process manual.
  • Understand the data flows for other systems used by the business into 3E.

Skills & Experience

  • You will be from a accounting and finance background (ideally qualified or QBE) with finance systems implementation experience in 3E.
  • Experience in business partnering with finance, senior management and IT/developers.
  • Ability to take ownership of the project and see it through to completion.
  • You will be detailed and \’hands on\’ as well as understanding the big picture.
  • Elite 3E is essential for this role.
