Finance Officer, International Development Organisation, Central London (Hybrid) – c£26k
We’re delighted to be partnering with an international development charity based in Central London to recruit a Finance Officer! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s looking to build their finance career. You’ll be supporting both income and expenditure processes, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a range of income sources including donations (online, direct, legacy, cheques/cash) and non-donation income.
- Manage the donations inbox, liaising with donors and ensuring prompt acknowledgements.
- Maintain and update donor records in Raiser’s Edge and manage Gift Aid declarations and claims.
- Process supplier invoices, staff expenses, and support payment runs.
- Assist with credit card reconciliations, out-of-pocket claims and general ledger postings.
- Produce income and expenditure reports, support budget monitoring, and contribute to audit prep.
- Maintain finance policy documents and help keep the shared drive organised.
- Provide cover for other Finance Officers as needed and support with ad hoc finance tasks.

- Graduate looking for first finance role or AAT qualified/studying
- Confident using Excel and comfortable with accounting systems.
- Highly organised, detail-focused and proactive.
- A team player with great communication skills and a can-do attitude!
