We are collaborating with an established investment management firm that is seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join its team. The firm has an excellent history of successful investing and numerous exciting changes planned for the upcoming year.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of financial information. They are looking for a collaborative individual who is comfortable communicating with Senior Stakeholders. They will offer study support to continue your development as a Chartered Accountant.
Your role:
- Assisting with month-end, producing management accounts, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Supporting the preparations of Group financial statements under IFRS.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and posting journals.
- Processing entries onto the general ledger.
- Supporting the wider Finance team and CFO with ad-hoc tasks.
- Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience within Financial Services is desirable but not a must.
- Great interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong Excel skills and double-entry bookkeeping knowledge.
