Our client is based in Central London and they have a short-term need in the finance team to help during a busy period. This software business has made a recent acquisition and is going through a year-end audit. You will be a Group Financial Accountant to help with financial reporting, year-end and auditor liaison, and assist with project-related tasks. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant with an audit background. Any post-qualified experience in the industry will be needed to pick up the role quickly.
There is a good team environment, it's high-energy and motivated. You must have a can-do attitude and be happy to come into the office for 3 days a week.
Your Responsibilities:- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Assist with year-end audit and preparation of statutory accounts:
- Consolidated financial statements
- Liaise with external auditors to coordinate audit processes and respond to queries
- Qualified accountant with a background in Audit.
- PQE in Financial accounting (this can be a few months to years)
- Good systems and Excel skills
- Communication and collaboration with the team will be essential
- Able to pick up tasks and new systems quickly
