A highly reputable, listed Asset and Wealth Management firm are looking for a Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting Manager. The company has over £25 billion of assets under management and a network of offices around the UK. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will have varied responsibilities as detailed below.
Your Role
- Manage the preparation of group regulatory returns and subsidiary financial statements under IFRS as well as Board papers.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and assist in group consolidations.
- Assist in production of technical papers for new accounting standards.
- Preparation of Prudential and Liquidity Regulatory reporting.
- Review the capital adequacy and liquidity positions of the Group.
- Involvement in the production of the MIFIDPRU and ICARA returns.
- Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax and VAT returns.
- Involvement in other finance projects including due diligence work.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with strong regulatory reporting and financial control experience gained in asset / wealth management or banking.
- Strong financial accounting and regulatory reporting (FCA / PRA) knowledge.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
