Job Description
A Sizeable Banking client of ours are seeking an Interim Transformation Lead for a 1 year opportunity to re-engineer the Finance Function.
**The successful applicant will be a change specialist who has sat outside of core Finance, able to see the full scope of the programme as opposed to someone from within Finance implementing change
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, responsible for leading the design and delivery of a comprehensive finance transformation programme.
**£800 – £900 p/day**
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Operating Model: Develop and implement a future-fit finance target operating model aligned with business strategy and growth ambitions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the transformation journey.
- Future Technology: Understand how current and future tech can impact operating models.
- Process & Controls: Define and document finance processes, controls, and governance frameworks to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
- Change Management: Drive change across the finance function, ensuring buy-in and adoption from key stakeholders.
- Communication: Ensure transformation plans, progress, and outcomes are effectively communicated across the business.
About You:
- Have experience working within a Bank or a Payments business / Non Bank lender
- Proven experience in leading finance transformation programmes within banking
- Strong understanding of finance operations, systems, and controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and consultants.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivery.
