Finance Manager
- 12 month contract
- Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
- Starts in September or early October
- up to £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Working for a growing business based North of London, you will be joining at the beginning of this company changing systems and improving processes. The finance team is energetic and has a good culture and work/life balance.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will include the month-end process, delivery of the monthly Management Information Pack and assisting in the migration of accounting systems and process improvements.
You will need to have experience of preparing the Management Accounts and be an organised and accountant who is motivated to improve ways of working.
Your Responsibilities
Management Accounting
- Prepare the monthly management accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Information Pack, including; P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow together with insightful commentary.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Bank reconciliations across all bank accounts including foreign currency accounts
- Reconciliation of inter-company balances together with movements in foreign currency
Data Migration and Process Improvements
- Support in the data migration of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable sub-ledgers as part of the implementation of Dynamics 365.
- Develop key financial and management reports to assist the team with month-end reporting
- Document key controls and processes
- Help create efficient process workflows
Skills & Experience
You must have experience in preparing Management Accounts and you will be keen to help with data migration but this experience is not needed - its more important you have a change mindset and demonstrate intiative in previous roles.
Excellent communication and time management skills will be essential along with good use and knowledge of Excel.
