Are you a qualified accountant with a knack for navigating complex financial projects and a passion for making a real impact? We’re looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead the financial aspects of a £330 million customer remediation and redress initiative. This is a high-profile role with significant exposure to the Bank CFO and other senior stakeholders. You’ll be working closely with teams across Finance, FP&A, Customer Resolutions, and external partners, including auditors, regulators, and legal advisors.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead financial modelling for provisions
  • Own audit relationships and ensure all accounting and assurance requirements are met.
  • Manage remediation reconciliations, budgets and forecasts, clearly communicating variances and risks.
  • Track project costs and ensure they are managed appropriately.
  • Deliver reporting to internal committees, regulators, and investor relations.
  • Be the finance SME in regulatory engagements, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and development-focused culture.

What you’ll bring:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Experience working in a retail bank in a commercial finance role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in financial services or automotive sectors (desirable).
  • Remediation experience (desirable).
