Interim Fund Accountant

An established, and growing, PE firm are seeking an Interim Fund Accountant to take over a role due to a member of the team going overseas. They put culture at the heart of all their recruitment and are looking for someone to join who enjoys being part of a social team.
You will ideally be a recently Qualified ACA/CA/ACCA from a mid-size practice (smaller practices and Big 4 are considered). If you have any post-practice experience in Fund Accounting or Financial Services that would be beneficial.
This is a hybrid role that is offered Inside IR35 and expected to last for 6 months. The pay ranges from £400 to £450 per day (umbrella) depending on experience.
Your responsibilities:
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Preparation of annual statutory fund accounts
- Liaising with external auditors to ensure timely sign-off
- Calculating fund calls and distributions
- Working closely with the internal Treasury, supporting pro-active cash flow and external debt facility management
- Supporting deal teams on investment transactions
- Preparation of fund performance data reporting
- Review private debt investment valuations produced by external provider
You will also pro-actively lead and drive continuous improvement and be given ownership for managing certain key finance processes.
Do apply if you have recently qualified and have obtained experience in working for a mid-tier practice or similar. A mix of Audit and accounts prep or some post qualification experience in industry (ideally financial services) is ideal.
