A growing organisation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification to gain broad exposure across core finance activities, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and management accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and support cross-charges across group entities
  • Assist with the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, and schedules
  • Assist with monthly management accounts for group companies
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packs and analysis for management
  • Carry out weekly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, billing, and credit control
  • Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system

Skills & Experience

  • Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Experience within a multi-entity or group structure
  • Exposure to Power BI, ERP systems, or financial reporting tools
