A growing organisation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification to gain broad exposure across core finance activities, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and management accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and support cross-charges across group entities
- Assist with the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, and schedules
- Assist with monthly management accounts for group companies
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packs and analysis for management
- Carry out weekly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, billing, and credit control
- Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system
Skills & Experience
- Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desirable
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
- Experience within a multi-entity or group structure
- Exposure to Power BI, ERP systems, or financial reporting tools
