Senior Financial Accountant, Private Equity Firm, up to £85k, London, Hybrid

We are working with a highly successful Private equity firm that is looking for qualified Financial Accountant to join its collaborative finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a sophisticated, fast-paced environment, partnering with senior stakeholders and contributing to key financial and operational decisions across the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Own and deliver an accurate and efficient month-end close process.
- Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, intercompany charges and other adjustments.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the financial records.
- Produce monthly management accounts, variance analysis and insightful commentary for senior management.
- Support cash flow forecasting, treasury operations and day-to-day banking activities.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning activities.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and commercial support.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT, PSA, ONS and other statutory and regulatory returns across the UK and Europe.
- Support FCA regulatory reporting and capital monitoring requirements.
About you:
- ACA qualified with first-time passes and Big 4 training
- Minimum 4 years' post-qualified experience, including experience within an industry finance role.
- Experience within Private Equity would be ideal but not essential
- Strong financial control and reporting background, with experience preparing statutory financial statements end-to-end.
- Excellent knowledge of FRS 102.
- Experience working with ERP systems; exposure to Workday would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within financial services, alternative investments, private equity or another regulated environment is beneficial.
