Interim Senior Accountant - 3 to 6 Months - ACA Qualified - Hybrid Working - Central London - Β£500 per day (umbrella) - Financial Reporting & Business Partnering - Immediate/Quick Start

An opportunity for an ACA trained professional to join as an interim on a 3-6 month contract for a company based in Central London.

This high-impact role requires a finance specialist to take full ownership of the financial reporting, act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, and improve process efficiencies through AI and automation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own the Month-End: balance sheet reconciliations, and deliver sharp management packs with executive-level commentary.
  • Pioneer AI & Automation: you will leverage ERP functionality, AI, and automation to eliminate manual intervention and accelerate reporting.
  • Commercial Business Partnering: Act as the strategic finance partner across departments to build annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
  • Tax & FCA Compliance: Oversee VAT, and cross-border transfer pricing while supporting regulatory capital monitoring and quarterly FCA filings.
  • Audit & Controls: Maintain airtight internal controls and provide critical, seamless support for the interim audit.

Your Skills & Experience

  • ACA qualified
  • 4+ years of post-qualification experience, including time spent in an industry role.
  • Financial control expertise, end-to-end financial statement preparation, and bulletproof FRS 102 knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel skills with a passion for automation.
  • Prior exposure to regulated financial services is advantageous.

You will be proactive and thrive in a smaller collaborative finance team and be ready to take complete accountability from day one.
