We are working with an established training provider, who is looking to recruit an Electronics Instructor to join their growing team. This role is based in Gloucester.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in electronics, electrical engineering or manufacturing who is looking to move into education and training. No previous teaching experience is required as full support and qualifications will be provided.

The Role

  • Deliver basic electronics tuition and practical workshop sessions
  • Teach soldering, component identification and basic circuit building
  • Support learners using equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs and signal generators
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to learners throughout their programme

What’s On Offer

  • Starting salary just over £34,000
  • Rising to £36,000 after completion of AET qualification
  • Rising again to £38,000+ after Assessor Award completion
  • Teaching qualifications fully funded and supported
  • 36.25 hour working week
  • Early finish every Friday (1:15pm)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Medical insurance and additional benefits package

The successful candidate will have hands-on industry experience within electronics and be confident demonstrating basic electronic principles, circuits and testing equipment.

All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS clearance and safer recruitment checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines.
