We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected training provider for an Automotive Learning Coach with a strong engineering background in HGVs and trailers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a dedicated cohort of learners while maintaining flexibility through a hybrid working model.
The Role
- You’ll be based on-site in Winsford, supporting an employer’s group of approximately 40 learners, alongside additional hybrid responsibilities as a learning coach.
- Deliver coaching, support, and progress reviews for apprentices.
- Work closely with learners in heavy vehicle manufacturing and maintenance.
- Support development across both HGV and trailer engineering disciplines.
- Conduct workplace observations and provide ongoing guidance.
- Manage a blend of on-site delivery and flexible hybrid working.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong industry experience in HGV, bus, coach, or trailer engineering.
- Previous experience in education, training, or teaching (essential).
- Assessor and/or teaching qualification (desirable, not essential).
- Ability to support learners across both mechanical and broader engineering aspects.
- Passion for developing the next generation of automotive engineers.

- Salary: £35,459 – £39,459 (dependent on qualifications & experience).
