About the Role

We are working with a highly regarded Further Education provider that is looking to appoint an Electrical Installation Tutor to join its expanding Engineering and Construction team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high‑quality teaching to both full‑time learners and apprentices, helping them develop the practical skills, technical knowledge, and industry behaviours required for successful careers within the electrical sector.
  • Support learners across a range of Electrical Installation programmes, combining practical workshop delivery with classroom‑based teaching and assessment.

Qualifications

  • Industry qualifications in Electrical Installation
  • Current or recent experience within commercial, industrial or domestic electrical work
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for developing and supporting learners
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a teaching team
  • Previous teaching experience is welcome but not essential. Full support and funding towards a recognised teaching qualification can be provided for candidates looking to transition from industry into education.
