This is a full-time, on-site role for an Arborist based in various areas across the south of the UK. Primarily, we are looking within the home counties, Bath & Bristol, and Southampton, but have opportunities from Cornwall to Kent.
The Arborist will be responsible for tree care and maintenance, including pruning, and removal of trees while ensuring the health and safety of the environment. Additional tasks may include diagnosing tree health issues, advising on appropriate tree care practices, and working collaboratively with a team of professionals to protect and enhance forest landscapes. Safety and adherence to best practices will be essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Forestry and Arboriculture practices
- Knowledge of Tree Identification and expertise in Trees
- Certified Arborist qualification or equivalent expertise (CS38 / CS39 or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of safety practices and protocols in tree care
- Experience with equipment and tools commonly used in arboriculture is advantageous
- Relevant certifications, such as first aid or chainsaw operation or Health & Safety + Forestry, are a plus
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
