Are you passionate about inclusive education and skilled in British Sign Language? We are currently seeking two experienced and qualified BSL Interpreters (Level 5 minimum) to join our dedicated Learning Support team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support D/deaf and hard-of-hearing learners in an engaging Further Education (FE) environment, ensuring they can fully access their studies and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality BSL interpretation in classroom settings, tutorials, workshops, and college activities.

Facilitate clear and accurate communication between students, staff, and peers.

Ensure learners are fully supported in understanding course content, assignments, and assessments.

Work closely with lecturers, support staff, and external agencies to deliver a cohesive support service.

Maintain appropriate records in line with college safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
Essential Requirements

Qualified to at least Level 5 in British Sign Language (BSL Interpreting) Signature or equivalent.

Registration with, or eligibility to register with, NRCPD.

Experience interpreting in an educational or FE setting is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal skills and a student-focused approach.
