A reputable FE college in Merseyside is currently looking to appoint two permanent Electrical Installation Lecturers to join their growing Building Services department. These opportunities would suit experienced electricians looking to move into education, as well as existing FE lecturers seeking a new challenge within a well-established and supportive college environment.

The role will involve delivering Electrical Installation qualifications and apprenticeship training across Levels 1–3. No previous teaching experience is required for candidates coming directly from industry, and full teacher training/support can be provided.

To be considered, candidates must have:

  • Level 2 & Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation
  • Completed AM2 qualification (may also appear as City & Guilds 5357 or EAL 7345)
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Recent and relevant Electrical Installation industry experience

Desirable but not essential:

  • Assessor qualification
  • IQA qualification
  • Previous FE/apprenticeship delivery experience
